Reactions.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction...That's what Newton's third law of motion says and that is what Violet Sullivan is thinking about while she's sitting on the floor; looking around, looking at those big black bags.

She tries to think about what she had done as a reaction to what Blake Thomas did to her. Maybe it wasn't exactly as equal as she would like to think but deep inside there was a part of Violet that think that what she's done was the right thing to do.

She has cleaned and tidied up all the house, everything is where it should be. Everything looks perfect. Apart from those bags, they look totally out of place because she knows what is in them.

She can remember everything;
The plan that she had,
The reason why she had a plan,
The pain,
Her heart broken into pieces,
Blake Thomas,
Their love that is no longer "theirs" and it never was love,
The lies,
His friends,
His ex-girlfriends
And how they all lied to her,
All was a lie.

Blake Thomas, the perfect boy, the boy that every girl at school wanted to go out with, was interested in Violet Sullivan. She still can't believe it. She couldn't believe it back then but at the end, that weak part of hers that liked him, did believe. She believed every word he said.

He was her first love,
He was the first boy in her life,
He was everything and suddenly he was nothing,
He never loved her,
He never cared about Violet,
Everything was a lie.

He just wanted to make fun of her, that's why he pretended to be interested in Violet. He took her on a date, he asked her to be his girlfriend but at the Homecoming ball he told the truth. He stood on the stage and told everybody that his relationship with Violet Sullivan was always a lie because he didn't even like her; it was just a joke to make fun of her. He laughed as he was telling the story about them. All the school laughed with him apart from the teachers and Violet who ran away crying.

"Who's crying now?" said Violet to the black bags that were in front of her "Who's laughing now, Blake?" She stood up and kicked the bags as hard as she could.

Violet looked at the house once again; everything was perfect, no one would notice, she would not leave any clue behind. Nobody would know what had happened in that house. Nobody would know where Blake Thomas was, he will be one of those lost boys. After all, there are missing people everyday. Nobody would know what she did.

"Well, I think it's time to go" she said to the empty house as she opened the front door carrying the heavy bags where her once beloved Blake is now as torn apart as her heart was when he broke it.

Violet smiled at the house for the last time just before the door slammed shut, never to be opened again.
